Default The feedback I wanted to put on the survey but wouldn't fit.

Me and my girlfriend, duo a lot in ddo, we are casual players and the moduals take a long time for us most of the time. So we also have a few spots around the 15-18 that it is hard to complete some moduals and raids are almost out of the question. (I have gone on 3 or so I believe and she 1.) So our equipment suffers as we can't play the "1334" difficulties on elite and so forth. Not to mention we have been playing for over 2 years and almost have a 20th lvl character between us.
There are some issues on how characters are built for ddo that are different than pnp, and I find that a challenge often, but adjustable, thanks to lesser hearts.

We both miss the old lottery, though you didn't get something every day, at least it was usually something decent, instead of a lousy collectible. That being said we are glad the weekly gold roll was added, especially as we also play Lotro, and how good the hobbit gifts are in comparison, with just the silver rolls.

I also spend a fair amount of time on the test server and after looking at the new enhancements it does give me some concern about the enhancements and how the game plays. For example my main is an archmage, because though it really isn't as good for our duo as pale master would be, I also play my alignment as best as the game allows, and so would never qualify or be willing to be a pale master. However because of the huge HP scaling, I am an archmage necro focus, (for the dc's of wail, finger, powerword, undeath to death, circle of death, etc), no undead creation. So the difficulties in reducing the sla's available to the archmage just reduces how well I can optimize each spell point.

A final point, that comes to mind is cannith crafting, I have spent so much time and ingame resources trying to get mine up with my artificer. That for the two of us is a huge investment and without it being updated with all the loot changes (which I do like) it is hard to care given how far behind it is, and hard it is to get up.

    Thanks.

To other posters. This is my situation, and how I feel about it. I don't really need to hear how uber you may be or how easy everything is to you, thanks. I just didn't have an easy way to give feedback directly to staff.

I and many others have wanted Cannith Crafting to be heavily updated for quite some time due to how far behind it is as you say, though it is worth sticking out and keeping going with it since once you get your levels to around the 90's in all schools you can pretty much make everything worth making unless you really really want flexible shards.

As for getting your levels up, deconstruct all the random loot you find since you earn plat, create essences and get crafting XP all at the same time! Save up a metric ton of essences and other associated crafting materials then buy a crafting pot from the DDO store (if you can) and sit and craft through all your essences with the pot running and you will rack up XP in no time

    Hope this helps!

I get that this was intended as directed feedback, but there was one point in particular that seemed like it might be something that you were unaware of that some information might help you with. Specifically:

A lot of the gear that comes out of quests at those levels have outdone the raid gear accessible at those levels. Many of the formerly great raid items have even been outdone by lootgen items. You two might want to look into getting some of the new Gianthold items, if you feel that your gear is lacking? The Cannith Challenges also offer some amazing items for casters, as well as the awesome Ring of the Stalker, at level 14+. All of these things are quite obtainable for duos.

I am glad that you are enjoying DDO in your own way. But 'roleplaying your alignment' is an extremely niche position to take, in an already niche game. It doesn't really seem like design decisions should be made around a personal choice that you have made to follow some unspoken code of ethics about using magical Shrouds.

It really is extremely sad to see this system abandoned. I think that it would have been better to simply never include it than it has been to add it in such an unfinished form, update it a few times until it is semi-passable, and then abandon it entirely as the game's loot is entirely redesigned while the Crafting system is left largely obsoleted.

Actually, we are doing pretty fair on our regular mod loot, I was more concerned with the new trends of difficulty=better item, epic elite items vs normal, or epic normal, etc.

I have to disagree, first, it's not unspoken, alignment is pretty well defined. Second, I would like it to have a little more impact than if I need to make a UMD check or not.
