    Default Web dc's

Currently im about to Tr my fvs into a warforged wizard archmagi 17 wizard 2 rogue 1 monk. With that split i will not lose any spell dcs just spell penetration which is useless for webs. thinking over things id like to be able to use webs to effectively crowd control EE mobs. But having never played a crowd control before i am sorely lacking knowledge on endgame gear and feat selection to best maintain high level dcs. web obviously isnt the most potent crowd control spell out there but it is what i am interested in getting due to its ability to bypass spell penetration and be effective in crowd controlling endgame mobs. Currently i am lacking the 1 wizard pl and 3 cleric past lives that would make it most effective but i believe i can achieve a reasonably high dc. Any assistance in gear, feat and ed selection would be most beneficial tyvm in advance .

Actually, you are giving up +1 DC by not having the wiz capstone (+2 INT). Feats are a wash: you're trading 1 metamagic feat (wiz 20) for 1 monk feat, presumably Toughness.

Also, why rog 2 / monk 1 rather than rog 1 / monk 2? That gets you an extra feat, though I'm blanking on what to spend it on besides a 2nd Toughness.

Anyway, you can see my take on a WF Archmage w/spammable Webs here. Basically, as you might imagine, you want Conj II Archmage for Web SLA and Heighten + SF/GSF/ESF:Conj for max DCs. After that, it's just a matter of having the right gear; I'm sure others can help you with that better than me, though.
