    Default Pale master lich form doesn't stay on but says it is

    Only did lich form, so don't know if this happened with others. Every change of instance, not just entry into quests but also in and out of random areas such as the Barn in Whallon explorers, turned it OFF, but the hotbar and buff display would still show it was on. (It was off bc aura would not tic until it was turned off and on again, for sp cost of course.)

    Also, occassionally it did not go off at all when toggled. This happened repeatedly (4 times trying to turn it on one time, costing sp each time) and was with no mobs around or anything else that could break concentration, etc.

    I've seen this bug MULTIPLE times in various builds....

    In the current lam build, it is true when you lose the buff on quest enter... the button has to be clicked twice, to toggle it off, and back on.

    It also happened with vampire form for a while, but I haven't tried anything but lich on Lam.

    Default all shrouds affected, not just vampire

    This is definitely a regression I have seen before as well. The permanency of the shroud state is inconsistently applied after any zone, and is most easily seen when using death aura. Additionally, the bug is causing the AE effect of death shroud not to be applied to the skeletal knight either when it is not being applied to the pale master. So far the problem effects all shrouds, not just vampire as is listed in the known issues.

    Cast any shroud, cast death aura, confirm heal on self and skellie, execute any zone change. Shroud icon shows visible, death aura graphic is visible, no heals for self or pet.

    There also seems to be a second case I have not been able to isolate where I could swear the shrouds are being dispelled in combat.

    Vampire form has been bugged like this for ages. On the plus side, Vampire form is a quick way to rack up a -10% xp whilst questing. That 400% light damage amp is hideously brutal, especially since almost all light spells have no save. Well that's not quite true Sunburst has a reflex save, well one day I was happily soloing the end fight of In The Flesh, when I saved a Sunburst for -510hp damage (at level 17, I might add).

    I am using the improved shroud enhancement which alters the shrouds, so that may be a factor. FYI: reduces light damage in vampire shroud by half, among other things. I am beginning to suspect that the number of regressions being reintroduced, rediscussed, and reignored may be related to doing it "by hand".

    the part about failing to activate when clicked actually happens on live also. it takes the sp. and it goes on cooldown. but no shroud for j0o!


    by comparison tho, it is much more uncommon than the other posters described it on Lam

    That its not working on the pet either suggests to me that it is a problem with the spell, not the shroud.

    Default Kindred soul is a waste and should not come before grand summoner

    That the pet has been completely redone and is not any one of the previous pets suggests we have no idea what root cause actually is. The new skeleton knight has a hireling bar, and four empty manually activated skill slots and with augmented summoning and grand summoner has almost 1400 hp @28. All of the other enhancement pets are gone.

    The only other pet you can get (not including guenhwyvar or the ownbear) is the hyper expensive lich from kindred soul, which has no hireling bar, no method for control, dumps his entire mana bar in 30 seconds, and is generally an annoying waste of potential. Grand summoner should not come AFTER kindred spirit, and the kindred spirit should be something more useful than a dressed up arcane skeleton.

    I think the new pet is typed wrong, I think the ranged attacks are borked in a variety of ways unrelated to healing the necro pet (they fly off into space when hard targeted on live randomly), I think the shrouds are borked because improved shroud is borked.

    The kindred soul is a complete failure imo, but I do not play other caster classes so I have no idea if the succubus etc are also useless.
