Patching deleted launcher

I opened the Lamannia shortcut on my desktop and experienced the 2 window bug that has been publicized but when it had updated and attempted to restart it failed and gave me 4 copies of an error message. I closed the messages but then attempting to use the shortcut I had used before gave me a message saying that the target no longer existed. After that I could not use the actual launcher by going through the control panel.

This happened to me too. I had to go to the backup folder in the Lamannia directory and copy the launcher back over. Then it updated again and everything worked fine.

I'll try that if you could give me better instructions. It sounds straightforward but there is so much room for problems.

Go to the folder where you installed the lamannia client. (For me it was C:\Games\DDO Preview\)

There should be a folder called "Backup" inside that you will need to find the missing file "TurbineLauncher.exe" and copy it into the main folder. Then try launching the game like normal. For me at least it then updated again and then worked like normal.

Its patching right now so I hope to be able to log on soon.

Anybody else have this problem?
If its common the Devs should put it with the other launcher bug.

So I just updated lamannia for today's new round of Beta and once again TurbineLauncher.exe has been deleted.
Copying from the Backup folder and allowing it to re-update seems to have worked again but if this happens to people on launch day (again) .....
