    Default Pacifly Wrack Construct

Wrack construct is an activated ability that enables extra damage and fort reduction vs. constructs. It costs no SP or ki, yet the cool down is shorter than the length of the effect. Furthermore there is no "buff" icon showing when it's active or expiring.

I can think of no good reason why wrack construct is not a passive ability. Please make it so. Especially considering that the new enhancements are going to make play much more hot-bar intensive.
I can be found on Orien as Cilon
HC7: Typhoon, Dreaded Knight, and Wish. HC6: Naivety. HC5: Who Is Here. HC4: Cylon Centurian. HC3: Soulstone in Your Pack. HC2: Carnage

I NEVER Realised the Cool-down was shorter than the effect.
Probably because this is such a specialized ability that rarely sees use!

In fact - I always thought the effect was instantaneous a la Trip/Stun/Sunder/Cleave etc.

For those of us who DON'T use a Gamer Joypad with 600 Buttons!
Those of us who use a Keyboard and Mouse...
We have 10 Number Keys corresponding to ONE Hotbar!
    We have Trip/Stun/Sunder/Cleave/Great Cleave/Haste Boost/Skill Boost/Dmg Boost/Manyshot etc. etc. etc. ALREADY!

WHAT ROGUE DOESN'T HAVE SNEAK AT #1 ON THEIR HOTBAR BTW?

I realise the Devs seem to think we're ALL Uber-Gamers who absolutely MUST have our Clickies to SPAM!
    BUT
Many of us came from a PnP Background - THIS is the ONLY MMO {For me Computer Game} we play!

Stop Catering to Uber-Gamers {who already have many choices of MMO to play btw} and start catering more to those of us who are here cos this IS Dungeons & Dragons!

This obviously includes some of those Uber-Gamers - there's nothing disallowing them from liking D&D of course - BUT They should expect to CONFORM to DDO NOT have DDO CONFORM to THEM!

OK, I reread the description. I misread it before. The damage is instantaneous but the fort reduction has a duration.

With my newfound better understanding of the ability, I still would like it to be made a passive. Reduce the damage to something more like a ranger's favored foe rather than an active ability. To paraphrase Fram, "Too many darn buttons!"
