ships buffs

Not that I have any ships buffs BUT I decided to run around the prison on epic level (and TBH did not find it as hard as GH), anyway after doing as much exploring as I could I managed to find the entrances to the quests after opening gates here and there.
Now as I have not done any of the quests yet and therefore do not know the average time to complete them I was wondering if you do ships buffs and then try and fight your way to the quest will there be any time left on your buffs?.
Please no replies to the effect as we don't need buffs etc as this is purely information gathering

well - if you have a key.... or use the teleporter (if you can) - they you should have enough time to muster, run to docks, run into prison, and get to quest - and if someone has done a red carpet...
