Default Considering what will be happening later this year...

With the changes to Heroic TR's (for those that haven't heard....https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...-amp-Iconic-TR), I think the dev's/Turbine should throw the players a bone and un-bind shards and seals and make them tradeable.

If possible, would ProducerRowan and MajorMal weigh in on this?

    Thanks

One does not equal the other, what they should do is go back to the drawing board. I'm not against something for seals shards, but why would you want to bargain with a game killing idea with something that is a minor convience.

with that kind of epic gear becoming more and more outdated with more and more new stuff added to the game providing more and more options for us, something does need to be done with them. an easier fix would be to up the drop rate, but since Sands seals and shards are the hardest to get, all that happened was make it so 3 Sands scrolls could be traded for 1.

Nope..you are correct. One does not equal the other...then again...name the top ten nerfs within this game since you started playing that has not affected at least one toon in your stable, or anyone else's stable of toons for that matter...I do agree when it comes to that link that they should go back to the drawing board...however...do you honestly believe that it will happen?

Who said anything about a bargain? Not me. I'm not bargaining for anything; I do not have that power as a player.

What I am doing is saying that the dev's should throw the players a bone and unlock the idiocy of locked-down shards and seals across the board. It makes no sense to have these items bound to account. Never really has either. Look at the AH now...or the Trade Channels....heck, look at the forums. And I'm bargaining? please....I'm just saying to unlock the bloody things...Epic Hard and Epic Elite stuff....some of it better by far than what was available by getting/farming seals and shards....FOR SALE.

Just convert all seals and shards to "Seal of the Partycrashers" or "Shard of the Demon Queen" (et cetera) and let them be used universally on any items from those quests.

While we're on the topic of moving things.... could we move the "pre-dragon" rest shrines in Tor a bit further away from the portals?

    UDR Loot Rules:
    1) No griefing people for pulling loot that dropped in their name
    2) When rolling, classes for which the item is "useful" get +10 to the roll
example: Wiz and Barb both roll on a Torc, the barb saying "I'm TRing into an arcane next week"
Wiz gets +10 on his roll

I was using bargaining in a more philosophical way, the way that is sort of like a stage of grief, or the way someone who thinks they're about to die prays to god not to.
