Remove astral shard icon from main UI

I get that you guys want to make it as easy as possible for people to spend money. I really do.

But I pay a VIP subscription, I buy the collectors addition of expansions and I spend money on TP whenever the whim takes me.

I don't need a constant on-screen reminder of my astral shard balance tucked away at the bottom right of my screen, with an option to take me directly to the store to buy more.



I can't see a UI option to disable this.

Just remove it folks, it's tacky and beneath you. Astral shards are not the primary currency in the game, they're an add-on for people who want to invest in them. I don't.

This really is tacky looking. Not to mention interfering with my hotbar layout! If you really want to cram it in there and make the cash shop seem even more intrusive on game play, at least put in a checkbox to disable it as well.

I was going to post exactly what OP mentioned above...
If you wanna leave as it is, its ok for me but at least create an option to disable it.... i mean, my OCD will tickle every time i see that thing in the bottom right where my minimap is supposed to be ... not to mention the map cant overlap that :P

I'm with you big time on this. Not a DDO playing day goes by that I don't feel pressured to spend money. I think it all needs to be toned down a bit.

have you seen how depleted the AH has been since P2WAH?

I do agree though. my screen should only have the necessary things on it for optimal view. not cluttered with my P2W shards balance. its obviously blatant why Turbine would do that. we never have had a bar for plat balance on the screen.

I don't see how anyone could make an excuse for this helping to sell shards. They could make AS buttons all over or make them take up half the screen I'm still only going to buy them if I need them. Well not buying them for sure now.

Thanks devs for sliding this one in. Maybe you'll stick a ddo store icon on the top of enemies heads so everytime I happen to click on a target the store pops up offering me some nonsense.

While you are at fiddling with the UI :

- Remove that round thing at the bottom of chat windows.
- put back the transparency icon on the left side of the chat window, it's annoying to have the eye hanging all aone in the middle of the screen.
- Give us all the required information so that we can make/update customized UIs.

Yet another 100% cosmetic fail.

We should see A$tral $hardS inventory when we are spending them (like with silver and gold rolls and other in-game A$ purchases) and when we open our inventory.

For what is supposed to be an entirely optional currency, stuffing this in our faces is a very crude way to attempt to drive its usage.
