Balizarde, ANY Dun Robar, epic duelists got much hotter. If it stacks with feats and epic abilities of course.
And ICYS ! At level 14, yummy.
Off topic but barbie cap is ****, while 2 figther wouldn't let you pick armor mastery, it gives you option for stun blow and hjaste boost if you dont have it yet, so it RAISES dps, hmm ?
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
With the low-hanging fruit int he fighter trees there is NO WAY IN HELL fighter splash will lower DPS.
How do you people even like this? You lose 2% dodge AND the option to CHOOSE. With this, you will be pidgeholed in a build with a 8% dodge somewhere, in an epic item. Horray with the same build everyone!
The core feature of this game was always managing the stacking bonuses that you character had, creating interesting build based on trade offs. Now, there is no trade off. Throw away your items, you just need an 8% one.
Does this mean that all gear stacking is now out? Skills stacking is out, now dodge stacking is out. Is heal amp next? I'm not sure if I'm strongly or against this. Stacking HA and Dodge and taking a fighter splash made my barb "defensive". Now he just gets his 8% dodge like everybody else with a ML24 Mabar cloak or a Dun'Robar ring. I definitely was having trouble fitting in everything, but I think that it's going to be a lot less interesting gearing out a character.

Feats and enhancements will continue to stack unless the bonuses have explicit types associated with them, in which case they work like any other bonuses. They no longer have the unique special snowflake status of stacking if and only if they are different values.
This is the same situation as the exceptional stat items, as they keep adding more levels, the stacking would get out of control. If they add a dodge plus ten item in the expansion, it would have been a dodge plus five for a total of fifteen, if the later add what would have been a dodge plus six item it would put it at twenty one, with the new system they have more control over it.
The dodge change makes slotting easier. I don't need a 1%, 2% and 3& dodge item in 3 different slots to get six, I can just get a 6% dodge item. Simple is better, imo.
Just adding my input from what i have tested,
As varg put in, enchantments and feats all stack, currently i have a 14rogue/monk who has capped Dodge without any items
So dodge certainly isnt going away, and is easier to find in most situations
also adding in more defensive stats across the board really...
i mean, with this 1st life char i have max dodge, 121AC, 132 PRR, 832HP, 120%Fort with just the dojo gear...
Tho i do have to say, getting all the Twists of fate to do this wouldnt be easy on live, unless of course you already had em, but thats besides the point. and does take away some dmg, but with the Dex to dmg they are adding it could be alot worse for being able to solo EE without a hireling.
It's in the release notes
You don't know that there will be no options, we haven't saw what options there are for picking up the 10% dodge yet. You could argue that as dodge won't need 4 seperate items to get 10%, you're gaining options on what gear you want to slot.Treasure Changes:
There are many new item effects and higher bonuses to find!
Notable new effects to find include Improved Vorpal, Energy Absorption, and Doubleshot, +10% Dodge, among many others.
I really don't see this as a big deal.

I really hope so. Additive stacking (exceptional stats, dodge, exceptional skill) was already bad enough. Multiplicative stacking is one tier over it. I think they just didn't adressed it yet because unlike the other two changes, they can't only double it and call it a day because of their multiplicative nature. Someone with heal amp 10/20/30 don't have only extra 60% heal amp. Specially if they also have enhancement-based heal amp (human, helf, paladin, monk).

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.
Repectfully, I disagree.
It just makes it easier.
Need 6% dodge on items to max out your dex bonus? Only takes one item now. Easier.
Need to choose between having 3 and 2 dodge or 3 dodge with 10% exceptional fort.... that is a choice. Getting both without sacrifice is easier.
Let them add the 10 dodge item and continue to allow stacking. Let the 25% hard cap and Max Dex Bonus cap combined with the need to slot other beneficial items take care of it. i.e. my main was hitting 23% dodge at level 25 in light armor if I had a bard buff. Adding a 10 dodge item on top of what I already had would be a waste due to the hard cap.
Anyone with a low MDB most likely only wears one item now and will continue to wear only one, but have more options for an item that will allow him to max his MDB. Its a good change for S&B and heavy armor users. Please leave in more stacking options for light armor and robe wearer who are willing to make a CHOICE to slot more than one dodge item to fit their build.
To repeat: The existing mechanics will prevent dodge from becoming too powerful due to the hard cap at 25% and the soft cap at MDB. Let it stack!
