Default Rogue Mechanic Enhancement Update? Info wanted

I'm a busy family guy and don't even get much time to log into my main server, let alone Lamannia.

Could someone tell me what is going on with the rogue mechanic line? I'm mainly interested to hear what is being planned with the defender pets. They are pretty weak and it would be nice if they could be similar to artificer pets instead of the current enhancements.

Does anyone know what the tree is like on Lamannia or can a dev comment on what is in the works?

    Thanks!

Alpha version. Beta is supposed to hit Lamannia soon-ish.

The big thing that I noticed was that the INT to Damage was moved to level 12, rather than level 6.

There are also quite a few 'gadget' type enhancements that can add some fun flavor. Throwing out tanglefoot bags, thunderstones, etc. However, they do not really scale as your character levels and so lose a lot of usefulness as you progress.

Thanks guys! Maybe they are removing the metal defenders from the prestige class.
I didn't realize the wiki had Lamannia enhancements on it--that's really helpful.

I was irritated with the way they did mechanic. As it is on live, it has a bunch of 'interesting' abilities that actually don't work very well or are redundant.

    - The 'fast disabling' is too low in the tree. ANYONE with 1 level of rogue can now have fast trapping. This seriously irritates me.

    - All of these grenades and traps might be fun at-level, but once you get into the higher levels, the low DC's make them absolutely useless, returning mechanic to what it is on live: a rogue with a repeater that can do sneak attack damage and traps, and nothing else.

    - I can understand moving the insightful strike to level 12 instead of 6, due to multiclassing complications, but still...

    - The mechanic tree really needs an overhaul. It's way too underwhelming in general.
