Well the dates were off on the list so the show doesn't actually "start" until the 25th. That didn't stop us from poking around the boxes though as people unpacked. It is good though I guess because now we have some great ideas where to go first and so on. Going to be around them on thursday again and probably all weekend.

Thought I would share some of my early Tucson gem show scores with you folks. Black tourmaline and fluorite octahedrons (d8's)

While they would make a good "display set" the lack the machined uniformity for a game set, as this is how they form naturally, unless of course you wanted a weighted set .

I have had people that run gaming stores ask for gaming related pedants which is why I bought them.

Ok so the 2018 Gem show is over now, at least for me, still a few days left but I am done. I am pretty much out of jewelry having sold or traded over 100 pendants over the last 30 days. I am also totally beat from marching through a dozen shows to find the ONE person per show that had the best deals .

As apposed to dropped 30 photos in here of my scores of gems I acquired through trades and purchases I am just going to drop one photo then link my imgur album.
