You can put the name of the item in the search field. Or did you mean like a checkbox that would only show named items? I suspect that would be less useful than you think when you start to realize how many "named items" are really not that great.

That depends on which items one currently has and what level one is at.

It works far better than the search for items with augment slots.

perhaps he meant the ability to search for item effects on named item. Yes very much like being able to search for slots on an item. That would be a box to check to include only slotted gear. but if you don't know what item you want you just know you want to find a Greater Heroism clicky you could search for greater heroism and up would show a planer gird. I have wished the AH worked that way from the beginning but I figured that was such a no brainer idea that if turbine planned to do it it would be done. I think they like to make us use wiki because it helps stroke the elitist egos IDK I'm just rambling now good bye.

Just search for the item class (helm, necklace, etc.), set a level range, sort by buyout, and skip to the last page or two. Anything that's worthwhile is going to cost more than the lootgen/worthless scrub named items on the first 5 pages.

Also, augment slots are a much bigger concern. Although I'd rather have a visual indication on the icon than an "only display items with augment slots" option on the AH. I wouldn't mind visually scanning items on the AH, if it meant I could also visually identify slotted items in my inventory as well. When I'm vendoring/breaking down lootgen, I don't want to have to hover over each item to see if its slotted and should go to the AH.

most named items don't have a +2 or whatever before the name of the item. when I look up named items, I narrow it down to the level range I want to look at and the type of item because there are just too many named items in the game and than hit the next page button until I get to the end. items are in lowest to highest with most named items at the end.

it would be nice to search for named items easier though, but the best way would be to set it up just like the AH is set up now so we could narrow searches down just like if we were looking for regular items.

Great idea. If you want to browse only named items on AH this would be really nice.
