Default Being "uncentered"; how to fix?

I have multi classed a Druid with 2 splashes of Monk.

I took the 2 levels for evasion and the extra feat.

    1) Is the evasion really worth it with a starting dex of only 14?

    2) I am human, wearing robes and not using a shield - any thoughts on why I am always uncentered?

    3) Does it matter whether I am uncentered or not for evasion to work? (I'm assuming in order for evasion to work properly you need to be centered?)

    Thanks!

While your dexterity is part of your Reflex save it is more important to figure out if you are going to have a Reflex save high enough to support Evasion. Good way to do that is to figure out everything you have that effects your Reflex save and calc it out to the desired level and then compare it to Saves needed.

Ideally for Heroic a 30 + Reflex save will make Evasion worth while. Epics will need higher.

Uncentered is caused by the following
    1. Wearing Armor
    2. Holding a Shield
    3. Holding a weapon other than kamas, a quarterstaff, or shurikens
    4. Being above light load

    1) Yes, provided you gear up: it will help avoiding quite a lot of damage from spells, especially at lower difficulties; however, keep in mind that traps usually require higher saves.

    2) A couple of options: your weapons or encumbrance. More info on being centered.

    3) No, evasion and being centered are not related; the Evasion feat works regardless of how you acquire it (e.g. 2 monk, 2 rogue or 9 ranger levels).
On Thelanis: Hallelujah (EK wraith) - Jerryrigged Juggernaut (Fiend Warlock) - Sepulchral (Druid) - Chopchopchop (Monk) - Alleyshadow (retired gimped monkcher). Formerly on Keeper : Misericordia (Thug) - Mumbo Jumbo (Battle Caster) - Infernal Can (WF Kinda Cleric) - Halleluyah (Melee Spellsinger).

I spent days wandering round in GMoF trying to work out why I wasn't centred .... until I noticed that Dragonshard fragments weigh one tenth of a pound each. That doesn't sound much, you say? Not unless you have a few ingreds bags on auto-gather and are too lazy to check them

One visit to the Alter to crunch them into bigger shards, and I lost 400 lb! Now if only R.L. worked like that ...
