I have an Iconic Warfoge and was wondering if their is a favored soul or cleric buil that has paladin splash. Any viable links?

I am interested in trying out this build. My experience of FVS is very limited to a low level alt when they first came to Stormreach so a bit more info is required before I take the plunge.

1. What is the level split between Pally and FVS is it 19/1 ?
2. what gear should I aim for ?

And would be good maybe 3 years ago. No cleaves, no overwhelm crit. HF1 (!), WSM4, extend, adamantine body, Bladesworn ?

Yeah, he didnt pay attention to "Iconic" from your post. His build is pure FvS only. An Iconic WF favored soul will unfortunately be missing out on the capstone, which means no stacking 10/adamantine DR for you. Additionally you get a malus to self healing compared to non Iconic WF FvS, mediocre melee DPS, and low spell dps. You're also very feat starved.

The only way I could see this one working with FVS is with a Pally/Monk/FvS 2/6/12 split. But even then I cant dream up much that isnt simply mediocre at best... Because honestly, in my opinion the best thing about WF Favored Soul is that stacking 10 adamantine DR you get at level 20.

And then there is WF Cleric, and those are all pretty meh even without the additional -10% to self heals and the forced paladin level.

The biggest issue here is that the race is forced into WF, which lends itself heavily to offensive melee builds (or defensive caster focus with FvS20, shield mastery and a few past lives under your belt). Unfortunately you are forced to take Paladin as your splash instead of fighter, which puts you down the road of Defensive melee without feats.... this is a very very tough road to take for WF (and boring in my opinion).

Wellll - considering the guy asked for an ICONIC build (ie, compulsory 1 level of paladin minimum) it wasn't a particularly helpful post.
