Can you please explain why now in the Ehancements Tree selection for Clerics the Enhancements of Prayer of Incredible Life and Smiting are listed as "Obsolete".Was there some hidden content in the patch notes we did not get acess too?

They are just preparing for the NGE... erm Enhancement Pass... Those two enhancement are going to disappear.
Clerics will be HjealBots, so Smitting has no use, and Prayer of Incredible Life will exist in the HjealBot Tree in another form.
We told them that what they did was idiotic, but they are still going to ram it down our throat as usual.
( you can check the thread in the Lamania subforums )
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...
It is actually the Prayer of Incredible Life and Prayer of Incredible Life Smiting that are listed as obsolete. Smiting and Prayer of Smiting, as well as Life Magic and Prayer of Life, are still listed as valid Cleric enhancements.
It's only the first part of what is going to happen this summer...
As a Cleric, you will have the choice of being a Healbot... or a Healbot.
Melee is not for you ( even if you can wear full plate ), offensive spell casting is not for you
( even if you have several instant death spells, and quite a few damaging ones ), Clerics have to be healbots.
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...
Seems like what happened here is that part of the new enhancements went into the game.
(The negative ones.)
And the new enhancements are not in the game, but due to come out soon(tm) (As in the xpac, unless it gets bumped)

The bug is that the text (and possibly the nerf itself) slipped into this release of live. (I have NEVER seen a company this bad at version control, its sad)
They need Kobolds to take over all the corporate food chain...
( taking over the top won't be enough, there's some house cleaning that needs to be done at all the level to repair the damages )
The QA Kobolds, while taking a lot of flak from us, seems to be quite decent, though it looks like they are not free, and have to follow the torches laid by other people, even if they are not agreeing with them.

That's nonsense, plain and simple.
Someone went in and turned off the assorted critical lines in enhancements.
Someone also went in and changed the text to state that these enhancements are all obsolete.
That's not a "bug". Here's the wikipedia definition of bug: "A software bug is an error, flaw, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that produces an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in unintended ways. Most bugs arise from mistakes and errors made by people in either a program's source code or its design, and a few are caused by compilers producing incorrect code."
The above situation is both correct and expected. What was "unexpected" was that anyone would see it this soon.
That's not a bug, it's a version screw-up. The *only* reason I'm being overly pendantic about this is that precise communication is a vital part of your job, Vargouille. Frankly, what this answer says to me is that you're willing to be just as sloppy at your job as the people who pushed forward the wrong version of the code.
It has been almost 3 weeks since this was posted; yet no update has been provided. I attempted to check in game ticket number 2943218, and am told absolutely nothing of value...but thanks for contacting us. So, Until I find out what is going on and when it is going to be fixed I'm parking all of my healers on Khyber (and recommending to my guildies and any others I talk with to avoid bringing them on-line). In protest to the lack of attention/information being provided on this issue by the developers. I don't generally do this but as I have 5 healers who are all being effected by this issue, I am being given little choice. My guild has 29 clerics and 17 favored souls--including mine.
