Daily dice lied to me, once again.

This is the third time it has happened, I log in the game I see the Daily Dice icon next to my hp bar. I open the panel, see the price is shown as 0. I click it a single time, and 3 Astral Shards are removed from my total.

I don't mind the 9 or so lost AS, but I think it's unacceptable that a system that basically uses real-money equivalent keeps lyings to me and taking my resources behind my back. It might have happened even more often, those are just the times I noticed by actually keeping an eye on my total AS.

I have been using the daily dice daily and never had this thankfully.

I had a lag issue the other day where I clicked, nothing happened so I clicked again and suddenly got 2 rolls. Was annoyed I wasted 3 AS on a second roll until I saw the second roll had won 35 AS. Figured that was a fair trade.

Before: note the daily dice icon, the "0" cost" and the 226 Astral Shards.



and after: daily dice icon still there, the cost is still "0", and Astrals Shards have been reduced to 223 after a single roll (shown in chat log).

Why does it say in the chat log "You obtain a blessed candle" and then "You obtain two lesser blah blah"?

Kind of looks to me like you rolled twice. Once for free and once for 3 shards.

if so, I'm pretty sure there would have been two entries for the rolls, instead of just the one for "67".

True. I thought of this, but anything can be photoshopped. I just don't see how one person out of 1000's could have this problem. Odds are someone else would have reported this too, no?

Correct, the candle was from the backpack.

And I doubt I'm the only one affected by this, some of my guildies have reported seeing the same problem. It's just very sneaky and most people probably don't even notice the lost shards.

It could be the UI you are using.

It's the default one.

I've heard of this problem but not seen it myself, my solution to it was to not roll or deal with the daily dice at all.
