Default Lookus the Unoriginal (Yet Helpful) | Basic F2P [No tomes, 28 pt] Human Healbot (LFF)

    (LFF = Looking for Feedback)
Just a basic human healbot I whipped up for my free-to-play friend, and I'd like some input. I'll prolly make a VIP version (with 32 pts, tomes, etc), but this is a good place to start.

I'm going to jump in here, and ask why toughness at lv 9? For a 28 pt, no tomes, I'd assume it's for a fairly new player - all the more reason for 'dem hps
As for mental toughness, I'd take that later.. there's no real boost for a while imo.
And extend, eh.. I tend to avoid that, unless I'm on a wizzy

Aside from that, very similar to what I'd do.

Oh, just noticed.. I can't see radiant servant anywhere.. I personally blame the new formatting, and I'll assume you have it. :P

I like having empower healing, maximize, empower, and toughness at level six for mana free powerful mass healing. Then quicken soon thereafter. Healbot complete.

    Default Update:

So I went back in the planner and rebuilt the healbot from the ground up with more Radiant Servant and quicken and early toughness, and less extend and early mental toughness. Give the build (edited into the original post for the sake of convenience) another look and see if I goofed up again.

Hm.. 2x great wisdom? For what purpose?
I didn't play my cleric at epics, didn't enjoy the life (ah well), but 1 DC for 2 feats.. wouldn't it be better to take 2 DC feats? Tiny bit less sp, but..

I've never played a Cleric past level 8, so I wasn't sure what the experience would be in Epics. I took the double Epic Wisdom because I really didn't have any other ideas? Are there any other feats that would be more effective at that level?

    Default Is this for multiboxing?

    Is this for multiboxing?

i DON'T understand the appeal of playing a 'healbot' so I'm assuming you must be multiboxing, which seems a collossal waste of money and time, to me... how is that 'fun'?

anyway... i don't find healing to be thrilling at all; you just get yelled at for missing one;maybe you will get a pat on the back if you hit every heal on time every time

big yawn; this game is already boring enough without trying to make it more boring for yourself

why not just use a hireling? they don't mind healing at all

you have two 'boxes', meaning computers, and run ddo on both of them, each with its own account, so you can play 2 characters at once
this is generally assuming you have some sort of ICE, thay call it, i think... though i don't know what it stands for ... interface control environment? where you have a program that basically plays the game for you, in a limited capacity, but still better than a hireling

If I would make my first cleric now i would make a melee oriented cleric that would buff and heal.

-16 WIS ,16 STR, all else points in CON. All level ups to strength.

-Feats ,toughness ,PA, cleave, greater cleave, empower, empower healing, maximize, quicken, overwhelming critical, Epic toughness.

melee cleric is where its at

    this is my real build
    28 pt dwarf
    16 str, 8 dex, 16 con, 14 wis, 8 int, 12 cha

turns are the gas here. so I take the extra turning feat and extra turning AP. also use the cleric TOD set for extra turns. I have about 23 turns at lvl 24 plus the fast regeneration from the ED.

hp are important, but will/should take the pally ED which gives tons of HP and DR and boost to heals. that being said, I did put one lvl into con and bought a +4 tome so I could take epic toughness. you don't need to buy the tome, taking cleave is an excellent idea.

my feats - toughness, great axe, power attack, maximize, empower healing, quicken, extra turning, epic toughness, improved crit slashing - not in that order

max balance with your measly skill point, hard to heal from your back

DC casting is nearly impossible on a cleric. so I never go the max wis route.
