And just because I'm curious, with a crossbow? The proposed character will running with a static group and will not be inflected on the general population. Race is halfling with full trap skills.

No, you can onlyassassinate (the Assassin tier2 ability) with a melee weapon orunarmed. The vorpal on sneak from Assassin tier3 works on any weapon equipped (scrolls and unarmed included), though.

If im not mistaken you can assassinate with a bow as a shadowdancer.You can either choose executioner's strike or shot with a 35% chance to kill if it fails a save.
