Monday Night Static Group - Lite RP - Sarlona

Monday night static group has two openings. We play (typically) from 7:00 pm Pacific Time until about 9:00 pm (Monday nights, of course ;-). The group has been active for about four years now and we comprise three characters on 3rd life and one on 2nd life. The current makeup of the group is as follows:

Bruggs Cleric Half-Elf 10
Risarr Archer Elf 10
Twizzix Warlock Human 10
Zanbaur Bard/Fighter/Rogue Human 5/3/2

We play slowly, often get in two or three quests in the two hour session (so if you like to zerg, farm, or only play for end-game, then this group is not for you). We typically play each quest only once (on elite). It is not about leveling as fast as possible, but about enjoying the questing.

Niabkutza, a monk, has indicated his interest in joining our group—hope to see him this Monday. We appreciate your efforts to level up, Niab. Now, if only Twizz would do the same.

We ran three quests on HE:Tomb of the Blighted, the ever popular Tomb of the Tormented, and Tomb of the Forbidden. Zanbaur wore his HGS Ring of Extraordinary Patience for the rats in the Tormented and did a great job. We completed Tomb of the Unhallowed on HE last week.

The Monday night static group has one opening. We play from 10:00 pm EST until about 12:00 midnight EST. The group has been active for about five years now and we comprise three characters on 3rd life, one on 2nd life, and one on 1^st life. The current makeup of the group is as follows:

I will be predominantly going with the cleric class. I'm not 100% on the build. I was thinking of a 15 cleric / 5 pally, but I'm open to recommendations. I have some big shoes to fill from the excellent healing in the past with Bruggs...so best bring some pots :P

I'm wondering what's everyone's thoughts on our DPS? I know Risarr's not built for it so I'm wondering if we have enough? I can alter to a THF battle cleric if needed to add more DPS.

If Bruggs can rock Warlock the way Twizzix did his kill count should be fine. Then with two ranged (Rogue and Artificer) they can wrack up kills from a distance too.
My Druid should be able to do a fair bit of DPS too, but may be a bit Spell Point heavy, not sure, but he has a bunch of SLAs which should help.
Both Bard and Paladin can do pretty good damage too depending on how they are built.

I think we are not going to have a problems with heroic content, even most epic stuff.
It wouldn't surprise me if we run into issues again with high level content on reaper as we get to or reach level cap again though.

I think this is more side effect of our group style. We don't raid, we don't grind, we rely mostly on random generated loot drops. With this style I think it is more important to have fun playing whatever we can complete than to worry about beating the hardest level.

TLDR: Either Cleric should be fine, play what you will enjoy.
