I think that the immunity to normal healing makes them not viable for challenging content where a healer is needed, and frustrating to play with as a druid since you have to keep track of who is healable.
It says they should be at 45% healing as per the wiki, but all I was seeing was "immune" on my druid.

I would like to say that the punitive postive healing penalty is leading LFM's to decline Bladeforged characters without giving them a chance. I've been in three groups where a BF took heat for their healing penalty, one of which the player of the BF was dismissed abruptly. Another dropped group, and the third involved a rather civil but unpleasant request that the player drop group after we finished "or the healer is going to drop". I have two brand new BF characters and both of them have been declined and/or simply left hanging without even the courtesy of declining. I attribute this to the perception that any 15 level WF with one or more Pali levels is already considered persona non grata in many groups.
Reason I sought this thread out is to let anyone over there that will listen know that you're targeting iconics at newer players, and those newer players are going to be taking cr@p from elitists and frankly many healers that have a perfectly valid point.
I have healed BF and WF, WF are unpleasant, but they generally have 15 or more played levels worth of gear collected that helps, they already know how vital healers friend is, and they already are wearing Hamp. BF are worse, and have junk gear (I have two and neither one is wearing any Creation forge items). This compounds the problem. Hitting everyone in the party with a mass cure for 200-300 points and seeing a double digit that didn't even move the red bar, over the head of the BF is frustrating.
I really wish the Dev's would stop for a moment, come here have a dialog and understand one thing: some of this stuff they are doing is not FUN (I mean in general, the pass, the new cap with no end game in place, the Epic TR debacle) and some of it is so bad that they are turning players away. Changes to MMO's happen, but sometimes changes are actually detrimental... Balance is a fine line... a fine line between THIS IS FUN and NOT FUN BUT BALANCED. Give BF iconics some other penalty and relax the positive healing penalty, just because it's balanced does not mean it's fun.
Honestly it's just time to make the war forge nd bladeforged healing penalty 20% instead of 50%. It stinks that every WF in the game always has to take this enhancement, you simply can not play without it!
I liked, key here is liked, the new WF enhancement that increases repair by 20%, until I saw its either +20% repair, OR healing reduction penalty. Since we are FORCED to take the heL reduction, that means no one gets a repair boost. This really stinks. Even more so considering the nerfs to WF racials.
Please change this guys. And also just delete the 100% fort feat that makes you lose healing ability, its just dumb. Also please change the construct essence feat to 20% heal penalty instead of 50% as well. You guys HAVE to know at this point that NO ONE takes those feats as the penalty is just too severe.
