Corrupted Sound dat file from 3 different sources.

Since the last update,I recieved a missing .DLL file error from the launcher and when the repair option did not work I hesitantly uninstalled the client and started the 2 hour long reinstall.

Its been 2 days now and PMB still downloads the SAME corrupt sound dat file.

I tried the direct download and the SAME sound .dat file is corrupt.

Am trying to download the client it via bittorent now (as unsafe as it is) I have no other choice.

Could this be a hardware malfunction?

I had my firewall DISABLED when I try to download the client thru PMB (thats how frustrated I am lol) so it does not interfere.

Is there anything I can do?
As it stands I am about to give up in frustration if the bittorrent is corrupt also.

Ok I actually clicked on the installation sticky and despite most of the links being broken I found useful information from the Turbine support page.

Apparently the left over data from my previous Turbine folder might have been interfering with the new install.
And my computer sleep function was interfering also

Helps to read stuff every now and then lol.

Imagine that.

Ill try another PMB download *sigh* and come back to complain if it still doesnt work hehe.

This is getting almost pathetic.

Have tried everything support page told me to do.

Disabled Virus protection,allowed PMB in firewall (it was already in exceptions,but made sure) and tested ports thru PMB options (all clear).

Meanwhile U-torrent is chugging along at a whopping 140 mps (no one seeds anymore lol).

And today was the day we were gonna invest in a good guild ship.

Ah well if the torrent doesnt work I can try some other MMO til I find a way to download the client successfully.

I feel sorry for anyone trying to try the game out for the first time and having the same problems.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.
