    Default Launcher crashes after a windows update

    Windows 7 just did a security update on my system and now the launcher stops working when trying to open the Main Form.

    I have gone into my firewall settings and ensured that all DND programs have access. Is anyone experiencing this? What can I do?

    I have the same problem. I submitted a ticket to support. Hopefully there is an easy fix!
    p.s. I redid my firewall exceptions and also un/re-installed the client. No luck so far

    I had the exact same problem. Uninstalling Internet Explorer 10 will fix it. Did for me atleast.

    Normally... if something installs, and something else breaks, you remove the install. Trying to touch other things normally won't work.

    I had to uninstal windows update kb2658846

    It fixed all my launcher problems.

    Default Support helped me out!

    I had all this issue and sent a ticket to support. They had me try a couple of things then gave me a link to new video drivers. That did the trick. I now have the latest windows update and a running DDO game client.
