Farwind: An Air savant Endgame EE DPS Build

Finally got around to update this for U19.

Overlook of the changes:

More Cha. It is now at 56 not buffed which is pretty neat.

New evocation DC: 60 buffed. Hellball is awesome, love seeing all those purple numbers. Finally decided my gear layout: its not too hard to find the combination of those Random gen loot (except for the +10 Cha ring which I haven't found yet) but pretty much it's easy. Two new 1-handers with the new update for more Spellpower.

Speaking of SP, my Electric is officially over 400. Just tried Energy Vortex with it (Yes, I took it) and its hitting for well over 600! Looks pretty nice.

Swapped Extend for Quicken (sigh). It's only for SLAs, Burst, Breath, Solid Fog, Otto, Meteor Swarm but I haven't playied with it yet. Dunno yet how I feel about losing Extend for Displacement.

New enhancements. Took something Racial, lost some Fire ones but I will probably swap the Racial ones for the Wand and Scroll Mastery + 3/3 Toughness when Eldritch Knight comes out.

Random gen loot. One was given by a friend, the other is still missing (got +114 Fire Spell power Ruby in a Corrosion of Fire Lore scepter, so I get my Acid spell power for Hellball too).

Yup, 2% crit chance on elec spells.

I start the quests with Twilight + Planar focus of Erudition set for 250 SP.

Been hunting the ah for a while now and bringing +2 loot gems to my ee quests but no luck on caster sticks.

If you find a +10 Impulse Scepter of Lightning Lore hit me up on argo I am sure we can work something out

They are a pain to get. Luckily mine was a gift. Still hunting down the combustion one with a slot. I will just settle for something ML27 probably and call it a day.

Have you checked out Ruin?

It is fast becoming my favorite spell seen crits over 10k.

Have you tested Air savant TOD set bonus? Does the +2 caster level increase stack with everything? Does the .5 crit multiplier still work given that they've taken these multipliers out of spell lore and enhancements completely?

If you test this out is there any chance you could throw some sonic blasts around and A/B test to see if the Air bonus multiplier also works for Sonic (Because: Shiradi Sonic procs and Reign twisted).

Without grinding out my own TOD set I have no way to test, but I've heard nothing but bad things about TOD prestige set bonuses working/stacking with new enhancement system.

Haven't really tried it. Also, the cost is really high to be a single target spell. If it was AoE maybe.

I don't think the TOD set grants the +2 MCL anymore. It's stated in the buffs but not in the set description on the item. Furthemore, I'm casting at CL 35 with or without set.

3 Blue Dragon Knowledge
7 Enhancements cores

35 CL

So not working/not implemented at all.

Now, knowing that it doesn't grant +MCL anymore, I might just ditch the belt since it's useless and go with Skullduggery for a free +50 HP/Dodge.

Nah. They killed every source of Crit multiplier, updated the description and the buff icon. I'm going to try quick tests now in Gianthold but I won't bother more than that.

Combat log says my CL when I cast things and it is the one I wrote above.

EDIT: Just done a small (and I really mean small) test. No crit multiplier with the set on.

Fly By Attack is also only 1 point, but I only try it a few times. Other option would be one of the 3 saves boosts from tier 1. Or another point in either Energy Shealth or Go Out With A Bang.

I think Drow pull ahead +3 dc if you go enchantment based but I do agree they are very ugly but the females are usually hot...
