Yeah Im very sad that I missed it, sounds like a fun clicky. I was just afk during Mabar, here is to hoping they put it in the 10th anniversary.

I love it for combining it with every other stacking temporary bs source of spellpower/crit. (Night horrors, arcane supremacy, wellspring, action boost, empyrean magic) and then put a 5 stack of arcane pulse on a boss
Seen stupid stuff like 6-8k damage per arcane pulse tick (without vulnerable stacks).

Thats insane numbers. I still think that Arcane Pulse is insane but well..guess not that much compared to other stuff.

Maybe insane, but it's the tool arcanes needed to keep up on high HP single target DPS (without needing a ton of SP to do so).
I think they did well on that one. Love that DoT.

I love it too but I still don't like all the power we have. Oh well I guess, gotta live with it. Back to Greater Ruin mobs for 20k!

33k sound about right for a build with arcane supremacy and 3 warlock levels. Anything above that sounds like helpless damage (using a 200SP spell to kill a single trash mob... k, I guess killcount padding is important ... maybe against those golems and beholders in LE, but otherwise ***).

Max I got on a helpless mob with Greater Ruin was 30k, can't remember if I had Wellspring of Power on. But if Burst crit and they don't save, it hits for 25k+ anyway. The problem is that they save often so Greater ruin with clickies > anything else. The new quests are just a Ruin fest

Hm, actually forgot to include master of knowledge and wellspring. With those you could push base damage above 50k non helpless. But then aligning all those buffs...
Average is a lot lower ofc (AS every 90s, wellspring every 180s, night horror once per rest, etc...).

Your numbers sound right for a pure sorc.

was with full mok stacks, wellspring, and supremacy going, along with 3 warlock levels and massive amounts of force spp. was also on a helpless mob, and i ran sense weakness cuz nerve venom. just giving him ****.
