    Default Unauthroized Charges

I've recently come across a problem on my card. Just today to be exact; when I was in the grocery store to buy groceries and found out that I had no funds on my card. So after paying with my debit card, I came home to investigate. Opening up my credit card transaction history online, i've found an unprecidented amount of DDO charges on my card via Valve, on almost -a daily basis-. Sufficed to say, i am quite upset. I've literally just went back through this month alone, and there is nearly two dozen or more charges, when I know full well that I do not game all that much.

I would like to know which game developer under your name is doing it, what can be done, and would very much like a refund to compensate what was lost.

This sounds a lot like the billing issues that happened recently. Sadly, the links to which did not migrate (I think) to these new forums.

Your best bet would be to contact Turbine Support, and file a support ticket.
Or, for faster results, you may want to call them at: 1-855-WBGAMES
English Support is available Sunday - Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 PM Eastern

You might contact you card company and reverse the charges.

Default Steam - Valve and ddo

I believe this has to do with Steam/ Valve Checkout process. This also happened to me with a different game there.
Multiple charges taken from account and forever to get reversed.

I am wondering if the other people having this same issue are giong thru Steam / valve . and then blaming turbine when its not turbines fault at all.

DDo does not require you use steam/ valve software..

I probably wont play any game that does require the steam/ valve software to play the game.
ONe for the same problem your having.
and 2 they can take the game/s away from you at anytime.

Best i could do was file a bug report/ and wait until it resolved. And let CC know what happened.

They are SLOW to repsond and no Phone....be patient they will return it but its a terrible inconviance as they are holding your money.

I would start by contacting my bank and tell them the correct charge and ask that the rest be reversed/investigated.

Yes, first off call your financial institution and stop all charges from that vendor. Figure out exactly which ones are legit and not legit...... Let hem know... Make sure you go back and check previous months as well. But this is aweful fishy, and sounds like the recent last couple of weeks Turbine billing snafu... That was supposedly corrected for all involved. So by Turbines word if you were there were illegitimate charges the credits back to you would already be in process. But......... Yet another reason why allowing companies such as Turbine or Valve or whoever to have free-reign on ones bank account/CC etc is well insane... Not your fault.... But a lesson is too be learned... Even if it happens by mistake, it's simply not worth the headache when things get screwed up since, they take the money NOW and gettting it back takes months.. And LOTS of aspirin... Simply becasue these companies are set-up for money to go in and not the other way...... If it was Turbine expect pretty much nothing.. Except "We're sorry our NEW billing system is a piece of bird doo... W're powered by our by our fans! Have a nice day... You will get your money back *Soon.....

    Be careful following said advice.

"We strongly suggest that you contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or with PayPal as we can return the funds to you immediately without any paperwork or claim forms. We will also ban your payment account from our system so that it cannot be used again. We take fraud very seriously and will permanently ban not only your card from our system but any and all Steam accounts that are tied to the fraudulent activity or disputed transactions."

    Contact steam support instead:

    They are fast to respond.
