Character Copy link after new forum update?

Some people have had luck by changing the link into either:

https://www.ddo.com/en/character_copy

or

https://www.ddo.com/de/character_copy

couldnt copy any of the characters i copied over during gh lamania test, seems that even after character wipe the new char copy says they've been copied already adnt hats it for me. Also massive list of almost all characters i've created over 7 years in this game, storage characters and all. So even their new fresh character copy is 18 kinds of boned... what a surprise.

Seems the tool wasn't reset, so you can't copy characters that were copied before the wipe.

Oddly enough, before I had to change the link to the "https" version to get it to work, otherwise it would say I'm not logged in.

Now it seems to have reversed behavior, and the "http" links work - en or de - and the "https" links fail and say I'm not logged in.

Well, I guess at least they're working on things under the covers.

BUT, they didn't reset anything...so can't use it...AND I am seeing character I deleted a LONG time ago...during DDO's first year...lol

Add me to the 'Need to log in' crowd being unable to access the tool despite being logged in and trying out all the different links.

Soo I sadly won't be trying the new stuff out untill this is fixed, I have no intention of leveling/gearing up a fresh character with stuff that I have on live.

try the links with only http ( getting rid of the s ) it seems to be the way to make it work today. But the tool hasn't been reset, so you cna't copy the characters that were already copied before.

Just want to say thanks for the advise although I had to go through a couple different ones before one 'stuck' and I was able to get to the tool. I used http://www.ddo.com/fr/character_copy so thanks for the heads up.

this character copy really sucks, because when you copy you do not know what level you are coping this makes coping toons a bad thing they need to fix it. My wife went to copy her toons over and got a level 1 and a level 4 they were not the levels that she was trying to copy.

CHARACTER copy really sucks I got someone else s toon on my messed up list and one of my husbands toons as well. There is NO way to tell what level they are and both my characters copied wrong 1 should have been lv 12 but ended up lv 1, as for the other it should have been lv 19 going on 20 but she ended up lv 4.
