Oh look. Turbine has released something that's a buggy mess.

It told me my display name (that I've always had with my DDO account) was "not allowed" so...

So I filled out the bug report thingy.
I received a e-mail saying they got the bug report but can't comment on it and ask that I submit no further bug reports on this issue as they will be ignored.
What does that mean?
Are you fixing it?
May I suggest you reword your response template to either provide some information or, in the very least, not sound so bothered by the prospect of discussing a service issue with your client.
It kind of feels like I just threw a bottled message into the deep blue sea.
How about a little "we are working toward resolving this issue" or even a Soon(TM)?
Or leave it as it is but delete the tagline "powered by our fans" at the end.
It comes across as ironic rather that genuine, which I'm sure you do not intend.

Me too. My forum display name since 2006 is now "not allowed", so I've lost my old self... *shrug* From the looks of it I don't think I'd be spending much time here on this "upgraded" forum anyway. It looks like **** being centered on a large screen with that horrid background. -1 Rep to Turbine's web team. Oh wait, can't do negative rep in the "upgraded" rep system either *sigh*
How about missing Rep Power?
Was 118 this morning, and is now 0. Seems like a reduction, somehow. Since we can at least hypothetically still +Rep, setting everyone's Rep Power to 0 seems a bit... confusing. But if this means we can just get rid of all Rep - I'm fine with it being 0.
Will not let me use Saaluta anymore, so now I am Saaluta2...

I sent in a ticket, wonder how long this will take....
So at the "Submit a Ticket" page, what do I select as a "Request Type"? I'm not sure if I should choose "Community Website Access Issue" or "Other Inquiry".
You know, it'd be really cool if the "Senior Hatchery Specialist" would maybe do a detailed post for a step-by-step way, to help us unlucky folks who are having issues, rather than simply posting some generic link & send us blindly on our way. I don't know, maybe a simple "Go to this link, click this category, click this sub-category, enter this info", rather than "click this page derp derp derp. It'll get fixed sometime...maybe if you pick the right option derp derp derp." There's a major bug/unprepared consequences/screw ups with the Forum changes, it'd be nice if Turbine owned up to it, for once, so much as actually going out of their way to make their user end "fixes" a lot a simpler.
Count me as another one those people that lost their "old" forum handle because of this forum 'upgrade', submitting a ticket several hours ago, but still haven't gotten my old handle back.
