Can someone who's client is not stuck "connecting" tell me if Fusilade mandates ...

As far as I remember, you can pick up fusilade as long as you took either the crossbow or hand and a half damage enhancements. But yes, you need 1 of the 2 to get fusilade or haste boost.

The important thing is I might like to take all the melee ones, but also Fusilade

Alright, I checked, and you can take all 4 tiers of the melee enhancement and then pick up endless fusilade. You can also, if you wanted to, take some tiers of melee, and some of ranged. You aren't locked into 1 type or the other for all of the enhancements.
