Default Lamannia install without Pedo Media?

Been trying for three days now to get this installed and am having zero luck. Is there a way to install the Lamannia client without having to go through Pedo?

Some guildies had problems in the past and they had to disable their firewall and download the latest x86 and amd64 (32 and 64 bit) versions of java.

If you think installation involves sex with children then I have to ask you to leave the forums and seek immediate treatment by mental health professionals.

Both Firewall and AV are currently disabled. Java was updated as of yesterday. I've tried running the PMB.exe and ddohigh.exe as Admin. I've also configured Pedo to not attempt to use any proxies. Running their connection check comes up just fine however any attempt to even start getting set up with Lamannia fails with a Connection Error.

    Go to control panel.
    Network and Internet Connections.
    Double click Pando Media Booster
    Advanced settings
when is ask about proxy, change from default to NO proxy.
    Click okay
    Re-open launcher.

This will lead you to installing, but you will get to the Connect:Waiting and will be stuck there.

Sorry my advice was for Pando, not Pedo... Sorry cannot help with Pedo

Pando, Pedo... Same difference at this point. Neither one is a good thing.

Sadly though, I've tried those changes and still keep getting hit with a Connection Error. I can't even get it to the install phase.

It'd be nice if we could download Lamannia via Steam like the normal release client of DDO. I've never once had any problems installing a DDO client through there.
