Assumptions can NEVER be made. You cannot assume that the developer knows how to do x, y, z or if they will immediately know what class goes with which ability or whatever.
Also, you would be shocked at how often a dev cannot replicate a bug because of one missing step, something that QA sees as obvious to do, is not done by the dev when he attempts to replicate.

yes, these happen. Not on my team, but I have seen almost this exact bug.


Good Bug:
Lamannia - Cannot report bugs in game, "Report a Bug" option in leads to the forums

When attempting to report a bug on Lamannia, players are being sent to a forum login page. Once players have logged in, it brings them right to the forums and does not allow them to actually report a bug.


1. log into Lamannia
2. Press escape to open the menu
3. press Help
4. on the bottom right of the help window, press "Report a Bug"
5. Log into the forums
6. Observe results

Players would be able to report a bug in-game

Observed
Players are require to log into the forums and then are not able to report a bug

Acid Spray / Shocking Grasp are really lame and Melf doesnt scale well for a Spell to be chosen as SLA

Archmage was my last life and I didn't remember many problems with soft targetting with SLA's, but I do know soft targetting is picky in general.
