I've been reporting this since Thursday. Unfortunately even the server maintenance today did nothing to aid the issue. The common theme seems to be previously used Lam clients work, newly downloaded and installed clients not working.

How new? I have an install I put online the day before the preview went live, and it connects. Its working now, even though the main client is still offline.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Based on personal testing I would say if you downloaded the day of the new build. Downloads of the previous build seem unaffected. If you have a second computer you could confirm this by downloading the new build and seeing if it works. Personally, my download was done Thursday morning, other than the Pando, snafu install and working through that, have been waiting at Connect:Waiting since 1p.m. central Thursday.

The issue described is from using an outdated installer suggest downloading a fresh copy and trying again. I had the same problem when I tried to install with a slightly outdated copy.

Your advice is flawed, as it is all the fresh downloads that are having the issue.

Agreed, but if they haven't switched to something else after all this time, I have little faith that they will in the near future.

How fresh is fresh? I haven't downloaded any new Lamamamma for some time and I'm still stuck at "Connect: Waiting".

Come theme from talking to everyone that has this issue, anything since the new build was placed on Lamannia. Personally mine was Thursday, some others have stated the same, but everyone mentions fresh download/re-install causing this situation. Received a tweet and finally they stated they were looking into it.

Well I download 4-5 Megabytes per second and I just downloaded and installed the latest one today with out the problem you describe only takes like 15mins to grab a fresh copy sounds like someone needs a better isp perhaps the low quality connection is to blame.

So by your logic you a stating that all these people complaining about the issue just have a shotty ISP? Again your answer is flawed. After all if it was just an isolated issue, would it be something that they would put troubleshoot specialist on the reason so many are reporting this issue?

So not only do you chose to try and insult me, but also the host of others having this issue. Classy. Here is why your logic is flawed. More than 20 people on the forums, does not count how many have filed tickets on web without mentioning on forums, from all across the globe having the same issue. That could be 5 ISP, or 20 ISP, so what you have essentially stated is that every ISP but yours is substandard.
