    Default Unable to connect to Lamannia

    I get an error message stating PMB.exe is not able to communicate with the server.

    My regular client for Live DDO works just fine. PMB.exe is an allowed program in my firewall settings.

    I tried downloading the latest version, still get the error message not able to communicate with the server.

    any ideas?

    Still not able to connect to Lamannia.

    I have tried everything I can find on the forums and so far nothing is working. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Ya I'm in the same boat here. Been trying all the suggested items on the forums:

    - Uninstall/reinstall Pando
    - Run in admin for both PMB.exe and ddohigh.exe
    - Run in compatibility mode for PMB.exe and ddohigh.exe
    - Allow PMB.exe and ddohigh.exe to pass through firewall (additionally I added rules to further let them through via the firewall advanced settings)
    - Set the PMB to run without proxy.
    - Made sure to test the ports and connection as per the Pando site suggests.
    - Full system restart at different stages to make sure all changes are fully made.

    All of this and yet nothing seems to be working. This is very depressing as I have been waiting for probably almost a year at this point since I've first heard whispers of the enhancement revamp and have been really stoked to try them out. If any one else can help shed light on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: Apparently in one of the threads about a connection with the Lamannia server (after the install phase can be completed), there is actually work also being done on this issue. http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=414878&page=3

    Not sure when, but hopefully this will be resolved shortly. And at the least, modify/extend the testing dates so that there can actually be a reasonable alpha test rather than having a good chunk (from what I can tell at least) unable to participate.

    You probably are already doing this, but after I disabled proxies (and was running it as an admin already), I still had to leave it running, trying to connect for about 5 minutes before it finally did.

    Actually after waiting for a few hours, I was able to download and install just fine. Seemed to be that way for others as well from the sounds of it so probably some sort of fix occurred. That or I just got lucky, idk. However, just like many others, I'm now stuck at the trying to connect to Lamannia issue. At this point, seems like an issue I'll just have to wait to resolve itself so holding tight and hoping this test period gets extended.
