    Default elf weapon specialize

well.. the new enhancement allow elf to use their dex as damage mod for several weapons.. while most of these have str mod for to hit..

which make no sense... i think they should add to be affected by weapon finesse feat
I hate how thing were mistranslated in this game.. but this is also the only one...

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Take a lvl of monk and boom you have that with ninja spy. Honestly think it's ******** that it's at tier 5 and it locks you out of anything good in a 2nd PrE tree and your stuck with just one tree for a PrE. Think I might stick to a Str build toon for my archer if 10k star gets gutted since I loathe monks even though I have a Moncher and don't see the racial perks work all the AP investment over having a full archer PrE plus most of a 2nd archer PrE.

Are you talking about Grace? Isn't that Dex to hit, not Dex to damage?

A lot of the "apply whatever stat you want to your rolls" abilities don't make a lot of sense.

Why would anyone make an enhancement to use dex to hit with longbows?

I believe that it affects all of the chosen area of origin weapons, not just the ranged ones.

I'm just going by the text that I read on the tooltip. That is why I'm asking for clarification: I wasn't sure whether it has changed. or perhaps people are only going by the text summaries on the forums rather than the aability itself.

Tempest already gets free finesse for light weaps and scims....they dont want racials stepping on classes too much i think.

Also they want you, i think, to have a reason to consider taking the actual finesse feat, rather than just take whatever autogrants it.
