I am trying very hard to maintain a positive attitude here and I need some help.
On March 22nd I attended the PAX East related Player Appreciation Party at Jillians. I was one of four lucky folks who won a Lifetime Membership Certificate for a Lifetime DDO VIP account. I was so thrilled, I went home on cloud nine. Needless to say I am no longer on cloud nine. Here is a chronology of the events that have occured to this point:
1. On March 22nd I attended the Player Appreciation Party. I won one of four Lifetime Membership Certificates. Tolero was the one who actually gave me the Certificate!
2. On March 23rd I sent an email following the instructions on the Lifetime Membership Certificate.
3. When nothing happened by March 25th I sent a second email, again following the instructions on the Lifetime Membership Certificate.
4. When I still had heard nothing by March 29th I called the DDO account support line at 855.924.2637 and spoke with Lavona. She told me that it could take a couple of weeks for the Lifetime Membership to be processed and to be patient.
5. On April 4th I once again sent an email following the instructions on the Lifetime Membership Certificate.
6. On April 5th I again called the DDO account support line at 855.924.2637 and again spoke with Lavona. She told me that there was nothing she could do to help me and I should submit a ticket through Turbine Customer Support (http://support.turbine.com).
7. On April 5th I submitted Ticket #24001-429900 asking what I needed to do to get the Lifetime DDO VIP Membership I had won at the Player Appreciation Party.
8. Today, April 11th, I received a response from Turbine Customer Support saying "Thank you for your inquiry. I do apologize, however account support is unable to assist with this issue. Please use the contact information provided at the party. If you have any further questions or concerns please reply to this message. Thanks! Arallas"
9. So Today, April 11th, I have once again submitted an email following the instructions on the Lifetime Membership Certificate.
10. Today, April 11th, I have also posted on the Account Management Assistance forum in the Support & Assistance section of the DDO forums.
Is there anyone out there that can tell me what I am doing wrong and what I need to do to redeem this certificate? I am starting to feel a bit scammed. I have been so excited to have my account upgraded to VIP only to have more and more time go by and not only have nothing happen but have everyone I talk to say there is nothing they can do to help me.
