It's authorization that Turbine could revoke at any time by simply opening their mouths on this subject, but they appear to like the trade of TP codes for items.
Just because something appears that way doesn't make it the way it is.
I walk into a store and declare my intent to steal a candybar. The clerk looks at me and once i leave the store he calls the police I get arrested for theft. But wait, he gave me his "silent" approval for stealing because he didn't say not to. But wait, I'm still arrested and charged with a crime.
Silence doesn't make something right. Silence is a cowards way of not picking a side and choosing whatever benefits them the most.

I wouldn't call Turbine cowards on this issue. I am disappointed by their silence, but I think it's apathy rather than cowardice that is keeping them silent.

The stealing analogy is a really bad one because Turbine's ToS does appear to allow trading TP (which is an in-game virtual currency with no real-world monetary value just like plat and astral shards) for in-game items. If a store has a sign posted saying, "pay what you want for any candy in this bin" and I ask the clerk if he would mind if I pay $0 (and I know that I have his active attention and that he did hear the question) and he doesn't object, then taking the candy without paying would absolutely be okay.

No one in the world ever gets what they want
    And that is beautiful
    Everybody dies frustrated and sad
    And that is beautiful

    Who the cluck cares????

Turbine isn't doing anything to anybody for trading codes for items... When and if they decide to they will tell people that they're are going to start doing such a thing... Notice will be given...

Yeah I didn't mean them cowards directly, I meant it more a generalization. I personally wouldn't have paid 0, I would have given my sock as payment.

I have no idea in this case but I've seen other posts where you made false accusations, so I would assume the same here.

Seems more like he wants TP for his dual boxes.

I see even the mods agreed as they removed your original post.
