This is a pic of my favorite pipe so far.......and I know...a woman smoking a pipe....well...I love nature....and cigarettes do not...so I will do it the old fashioned honest way

This is a Cheerywood Corn Cob Pipe...I much want a good Churchwarden.....bought a cheap one and it was junk......the $3 Corn Cob has outlasted it by far...what was that...you get what you pay for......LOL...well...I tend to disagree on that a bit.....

anyways......the once a week vodka clean followed by the Amaretto Tobacco makes me know why Gandalf was so fond of Hobbitses

Continue forumsies...show us a bit about who you are outside the DDO-land

I do lots of things outside of DDO.

I am a blackbelt in Hapkido and former professional wrestler...here's me way back when!

I also work with animals for conservation and pets. Here are some of the things I breed:

    Bettas (for pets and shows)

Day Geckos (mostly for pets, some have been re-introduced)

    Carpet Pythons (pets mostly)

    and Bredli Pythons (again, pets)

I also work with several species of dart frogs, mostly for conservation purposes:

In my spare time, I like to build these (mostly for the frogs, but this one houses my pair of Golddust Day Geckos):

And I'm pretty darn good at contact juggling:

My overall passion though? Making movies. Here is the trailer for my film "Nightmare" which should be out later this year.

I much prefer my Crab Rangoon, with Teriyaki sesame seed noodles, Orange sauce fried rice, and my personal favorite my cinnamon sugar fried crane.

A year ago this month, I should have died.
I had a massive pulmonary embolism complicated by pneumonia, was in the ICU on a ventilator for eleven days, and in the ICU for another five days after I woke up. This was after passing out at home and falling down 3/4ths a flight of stairs four days after spinal fusion surgery. My wife was given the, "If anyone would have any regrets by not being here..." speech three times.

Spent the majority of this past year recovering physically, and almost back to low-normal. My wife showed me this pic for the first time last night... been a year of ups and downs - but I'm still here.

And plan on being here for a long, long time to come.

Mem...not to be all pious here......but life will always find a way...and you will always be a part of it..and an irreplaceable part of it at that...as we all are.......

so bask in it's joys......for you are precious.......no not Gollum/Smeagol precious...but precious all the same.....

I do hope the weight of your chains fall upon those who need thee...to stay grounded.....and a part of us......and free you enough to take the flight that befits you.

alas the universe is a big place........and never do I wish to deny anyone to travel it's majesty.

I remember that - are you still updating that previous thread? If not, how's the production coming?

I have not updated in awhile because we are taking a break until May. Our lead moved out of state and it was getting expensive to fly him out here. So, we're raising some money now to finish it up!

On a much different and a bit lighter note from my last post...

We have two pet rats, a cat who thinks she is a person, and two guinea pigs. One of whom likes to wear a crown whenever one of my kiddos makes him one.

You should get yourself a good meerschaum. Nothing else quite like it and they get better with age.

Playing the blues and some hard rock on my Les Paul Jr. P90s and Sunn amps make for some great Rock n Roll when I can't game in DDO or Neverwinter.

I might have mentioned this elsewhere, but I am disabled and a virtual shut-in as a result of a skin condition known as Hidradenitis Suppurativa Stage Three. It is painful, disfiguring, in curable, and annoyingly enough, non-fatal. I am 38. If I live to be 138 and a cure is still not found, I will still be suffering.

It is NOT a pleasant disease to read about. Google it at your own discretion.

In other news, I have two cats who aren't the slightest bit overweight and yet still mass upwards up forty pounds between them. Frak with them at your own peril, especially since they can both jump 6+ feet straight up from a standing position.

I have an autographed picture of the Third Doctor signed during a visit by Jon Pertwee to a library here in Mississippi thirty-odd years ago. I still remember it clearly. I made a fool of myself when he asked who he should make it out to by saying "me".

I have another signed picture of Darth Vader from David Prowse and James Earl Jones from the summer of '77 back when actors still did mall tours to promote movies. I was three at the time and David was in full costume. I wet myself.
