Will Items, delete character

So I don't really know if this would be a good idea, but I thought I'd put it out there to see what people think.

The basic premise is this: you are going to kill off(delete) one of your characters, and you can then "leave" and of his gear or items to any of your other characters. This would not allow you to move things between accounts.

You'd be able to leave anything, including bind-on-aquire stuff like greensteels or epic items.

The way to impliment it, after you "kill" your character, you get a window that looks like a chest window and has drop-down lists of all of your other existing character's names. Select who you want each item to go to.

Reason #1: If I read the OP correctly, it's another request to circumvent BtC.
Reason #2:Even if limited to unbound to character items, the opportunity cost is too high. I'd much rather have developers working on new content, bug fixes, the bucket list (which wouldn't take long-hint hint), or other game enhancements.

All the same, I would like to give the OP credit for an interesting suggestion.

Actually I(the OP) am a pretty flagrant anti-PD'er :P I tend to come down on them pretty hard when they suggest silly PD-things in this forum.

I was mostly just thinking out loud, had a more emersion-standpoint in mind, along the lines of "This character is too powerful, I shall retire him and pass his lifetime of l00t on to his decendants...". I see now it could have been used for extra storage, I was just curious what people would say. Thanks!
