    Default The Warsaint - WF Battle Cleric Build

    Hey All,

    Just trying to come up with a new twist for my next TR and I'm looking at something along these lines. His basic purpose is burst/aura/quickened heals while lending DPS to melee. I dumped all Smiting enhancements in favor of maxing out heal potential through enhancement lines. Bumped CON twice in level ups to get to Epic Toughness but I am kindof whatever about the level 24 feat. Ideally he's going to have two "modes": DPS with a Greatsword (anything decent is already available to me) using Bladesworn Transformation with burst/aura heals and Intimi-turtle with a tower shield and bursting heals/quickened heals/aura.

    For EDs I'm thinking a bounce between US and LD, though EA is available if someone can see use for that on this build.

    Gearing suggestions and general tweaks etc for enhancements, feats, leveling process are immensely appreciated.

    And yeah I know WF is not the ideal race for a cleric but I wanted to see if I could fit in a decent package using WF.

    First off if you're going to be sacrificing stuff to improve melee dps, half-orc would be a far better choice than a wf.

    I know you know, but that needed to be said.

    as for leveling, take the 2 pally levels AFTER you have 12 cleric levels. the healing aura is a big thing for a cleric, and huge for a melee cleric. the improved saves can wait.

    I would also take cleave (if you want to be useful in melee, then BE useful at melee) or empower (free empower on bursts?? yes please!) over shield mastery (10 PRR... meh. IMO empwer on your bursts would heal for more than the 10 PRR would reduce, and would be useful in more situations), and go for adamantite body over mithral body (not like you're gonna have evasion, right? so if you're after AC, might as well go for it). also, I would grab quicken earlier. it affects your bursts, thus making you a much better party healer.
