Eberron Dragonshards to Astral Diamonds

Was messing around in the Cannith crafting center when I saw the astral diamonds to purified eberron dragonshards and for half a second I thought it was the other way round. This got me thinking though if there were a way to turn those dragonshards to astral diamond it would alleviate a lot of the problems with the with the current system.

Now if implemented the success of this for both players and devs would be in the numbers. Right now it is 1 epic dungeon token for 1 purified eberron dragon shard. Not sure if there are newer faster ways of farming epic dungeon tokens but currently I am still doing time is money which on my bard yields me about 1.5 tokens every 2 runs for 10 minutes of run time. Just reversing the AS to PEDS would be 4-4 which I am sure turbine would believe is a little high. A trade of 5 PEDS for 3 AS seems more likely to convince the devs to implement.

This would not break the AS market it would just give players a means of farming up AS at an admittedly low rate. One gold roll would be the work of 2 hours and 55 minutes of farming at my rate. I don't see this as a profitable farm but I don't think Turbine would ever want a way to quickly farm AS. What I see is players who have 5 extra dungeon tokens or a +1 tome converting these to AS for repairs or respecs or a silver roll.

The main problem with this right now is that 10 AS may be traded for 16 PEDS which if left in obviously creates a circle where players could endlessly gain more AS I'd remove this and leave the 4-4 AS-PEDS.

Personal I still thing eberron dragonshards are under utilized. Any way that allows you to use them belond pointless expendables is a good move in my opinion.

Plus, the people that have a dozen or so completionist characters will have an excess of tomes which can be turned into purified Everton d-shards, which could then be converted into astral shards. I like it! I'm not one of those that has multiple multiple tr's but it's a good idea none the less.
