    Default red spell power augs.

    to keep it simple:

    red spell power auguments to be converted to orange spell power auguments so they can fit in both red and yellow slots.

    pretty sure if you change the spellpower augments into orange it means it'll only be able to go into orange slots o_O

    the guy above is correct..

    and thus the only option is colourless.

    I mentioned this issue when this system was in development - there are many items that have spell power, - but dont scale with lvl, under the old system all items scaled - and it was a superior system for that fact.

    Id love to be able to upgrade my 'rock boots' with more acid damge to keep them current as lvl caps raise - oh well.

    We have the same rigid role mentality to thank for this oversight as we did for the joy of wonder that is the 'implement bonus'.

    So what you folks are saying is that there aren't enough weapons for casters with augments on them?
    And/or that bonuses for spell casting are so common on a wide variety of items that they should be colorless from the start on?

    I ended up buying a club with a red augment to craft superior stability on for the off hand of my level 12 wiz. It turns out that visually the club looks like he is holding the flank of a deer. He is wearing the silken mail, which someone told me looks like a chef's outfit, so it's a good match. Now if only i could find a meat cleaver for his main hand.

    if its like this, then augument rules dont mirror slot color rules, orange slot can take either red or yellow, so whats a big problem with makeing orange auguments that would fit either red or yellow, this aug system is still "young" so i think it would be good thing for turbine to consider.
