Did someonen who plays a pale master?

I have a long term project that I recently got back to 20 on her final life (supposed to be) with three past lives of wiz, three sorc, three fvs and a cleric (just couldn't face two more cleric lives!) who's just sitting currently. She's my second toon, and probably really my favorite, but with the effective nerfs (i know, PM hasn't been nerfed directly but that's the effect of recent changes) I just can't make myself log into her anymore

well from gear as u can see on my first item hotbar i have kept 5 item abi set/rahkir/lvl 24 robe of shadow/twilight/+8 int ring ...just reconfiguring the slots according with new system .. with that setup u +3 dc on all major schools necro,evoc,conju,enchant , major arcane lore from tod set+twilight, boost twilight with 120 combustion/elec,or glaciation/acid or watever combo u plz (i go fire/elec personaly xept situation like eeda that needed to respec on acid/ice) ,

The important bit is not to rely on your necro spells only ..circle ,drain,wail,fod ... because u gonna drain your sp like crazy and kill mobs slower ... so take draconic destiny twist in necro/faith/echoes ( my setup for most situations )
boost primary element spell power ,get energy burst+vortex ....and play with both nuke /necro spells ...u gonna rock the floor if u learn to combine em effectively ... like circle/mass hold fire burst !!!! dead !!! or fire breath .. or burst and breath ...and can clean up if some1 survived with fod ...and so on that the idea anywho ^^

In other words, not really attainable for the majority of the PMs out there who can't / don't spend 8-10 hours a day fishing for all the named items in the game AND haven't purchased Epic Destinies. You, sir, are in a class all by yourself.

What we really need is for Turbine to fix what the posters in this thread have been complaining about so that the middle-class PMs without Epic Destinies, like myself, can be competitive at least and not be a burden to the groups we're in.

I am in the process of regearing my PM (again ), but frankly a multi-life PM with all destinies capped out she is not all that fun to play in eGH. I get the fact that not every toon is or should be the best option in every quest, but seriously with all the time I have put into her it would be nice to want to play her every now and again especially in the latest content.

yep and that is a legitimate concern. I also feel the plight of those who just want to play their high level wizards and don't have the time to grind out extra lives. And found the prestige a good way to at least not feel like a waste of a party slot or a buff bot.

Either way I just hope some of these issues are really going to be addressed, having them look at the missing vendor is fine, id still like to see us be able to purchase negative energy consumables without the ddo store .

Hope wail really gets looked at and put back the way it was before it broke.

And I am hoping for more spells as well (Bigby spells, Black tentacles, gate, imprison)
