Seen them going for certain EE items or sometimes 7-8 million worth of plat. Not enough to get me to sell one but some people really want those ee items.

You are a bit low. While they were still being sold my guildie got the following for boxes:

500k plat, 15 Bypass Timers, 20 flawless blacks, 20 flawless blues, and 10 flawless whites I believe.

Now that they are not immediately available in the store the cost probably are a bit higher (give or take for buyers value).
