Can someone give me a mathematical equation for taking the toughness feat? The explanation of the feat is too vague to discern how much is lost/gained from which level it's taken at. Also, does constitution figure into the equation for this feat?

I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that most, if not all, games are broken to some extent.
One should not complain about them if one cannot fix them.
I, for one, should take this to heart as I embark upon another journey through this game.
Toughness feat+ap spent on racial and class toughness enhancement= less squichy character.
A dwarf druid for one has 8 available, while a halfling rogue has 2 tiers of enhancement available.
All bonuses from Toughness are retroactive, so it doesn't matter when you take it for computing your final HP.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.
What don't you understand?Toughness (feat)
Usage: Passive
Description
This feat adds +3 hit points to the character and adds +1 per level beyond the first, for a total of 22 hit points at level 20.
CON has nothing to do with Toughness.
