Default DDO Black Screen in VirtualBox WinXP

So I have a legit installation of WinXP running in the latest VirtualBox with Guest Additions installed.

The DDO launcher works ok but instead of seing a character select screen, all I get is Black.

Is there anyone out there currently running this setup successfully?

You may need to activate DX support. It's off by default, even with Guest Additions installed, and is considered experimental. Refer to this VirtualBox manual entry for more details.

    Best of luck!
