Prism not working right on Artificer Repeater?

ok, I have been trying to get Prism stance to do ability damage...I never see it in the log or on my floating damage...now after getting Rainbow...same thing...no extra 1d100 random elemental damage...I have a repeater...it should be going off all the time...

Can anything cause it not to function? I have tried multiple repeaters...and nothing seems to get them to work.

After changing out my rune arm from glass cannon to archaic device and back I am now getting the random elemental damage...just still no ability damage.

It works, but for some reason they appear as untyped damage, so really hard to track them.
