Or place a Banker at the docks in the Harbour.
Lots of doors available along the docks, or room for renovating one in.

A short hop to there would be great, as opposed to having to run up top to get to the bank during the cove.
Or even your first trip off of Korthos, would be nice to get your bags, then a few steps over to the bank.

First off, I save up my chest maps until I get a bunch. Then do a run and collect them all.
I sell my stuff to the barkeep in the Smugglers Rest tavern.
When I am done running CC for the day, I go to the harbor and buy back from a barkeep there anything I wanted to keep, auction or sell to a broker. (Can buy back for 24 hrs)
Cuts down on the trips, especially with so many gems still dropping.

It has nothing to do with maps, there is a bartender to sell worthless trash from that chests.

The real thing is passing shards/gems/doubloons to charater that uses them to build item.
