Dragons in Heroic Gianthold

I stumbled upon a red dragon in Heroic Gianthold Wilderness. She was CR16 and I defeated her easily with my Flame Savant Sorc using my secondary element (It was really too easy, IMO).

I didn't realize there would be Dragons in Heoric GH also. Is this WAI?

Are you talking about the one with the Brothers Grimm? I think that is part of the epic rare leakage that has been happening on the Heroic side.

The issue seems to be that some of the epic spawn points for rares spawn in the heroic side. Sometimes spawn points for rares contain regular mobs, sometimes the rares. You can identify the spawn points because none (most at least) of the kills in these points will count towards your heroic slayer.

No..This one was just off to the right of the entrance. I had to talk to her before the fight commenced. She said she had an adventure for me, then she attacked me.

I did come across a CR1 rednamed Cloud Giant named Cyclone a couple of days ago in a Heroic instance that was definitely due to the Epic/Heroic bug. This Dragon seemed to be appropirate however since she was CR16. She was a mild challenge but still went down fairly quickly. She spawned 2 chests.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they just left this bug alone. It kind of adds a little variety IMO and you never know when one will spawn.

I've seen three different dragon encounters on epic - Norovirus the red dragon, the Brothers Grimm and the associated Ice Dragon, and then a random death-from-the-skies blue dragon. I've also encountered Brawnpits.

I believe I have only encountered Norovirus on Heroic, although I've found Brawnpits' relics lying around in other heroic instances. As far as I can tell, however, I didn't receive any XP for killing Norovirus in heroic. Although I did get a chest, with level 16 loot.
