"Unbound and Bound-to-Character-on-Equip items can be traded. Equipped Bound-on-Equip items can be sold even after they are bound, but become immediately bound to the buyer."
This is the part I was reading. it doesn't say anywhere that btcoa items such as raid loot can be used in the new shard auction house.

Will be interesting to see what is and isn't sellable. I tried to sell my Onyx Panther and Cub Certificate, but it wouldn't let me. Nor would any store items or Birthday items I had.
Edit:
Shroud Items = No.
Minos Legens = No.
Bracers of Glacier (VoD) = No.
Wizards Ward (bound version) = Yes
Evenomed Cloak: No.
Frozen tunic = No.
Epic Shimmering Pendant = No.

Magical Rings are well... magical. - Gandalf
The relevant bits:
"Equipped Bound-on-Equip items can be sold even after they are bound, but become immediately bound to the buyer."
"posting fees for Bound on Equip items is five Shards."
"while the default bid for Bound on Equip items is fifteen Shards."
As to my own personal reaction: Well, there goes my last hope of talking my two buddies back in game.
I'm consistently baffled why Turbine 'patches' contain:
Lots of new features.
Lots of fixes to trivia
Lack of fixes to important things that people are constantly asking for (e.g. spell facing, caster levels, Wail, Invis not working)
Surely new stuff belongs in updates with patches only containing bug fixes. Please fix
more bugs like you promised. The known issues list is a joke.
No doubt. Not particularly opposed to an in-game free stuff mechanic that replaces the broken myddo lottery or a cashtral shard auction house, but not seeing actual fixes in a patch for the stuff that was broken in the last update does not motivate continued financial support of the game for me.
So if the my.ddo link is being removed from the game, does that mean its being written off and the Daily Dice is replacing the lottery system?
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Known Issues List,
could you please add the Known Issues List on the Known Issues List?
Because the List is a Fail, not even half of the Known Issues on it..
No mentioning of Fixing WAIL = another Fail..
Invisibility? gah forget it...
Also its really nice to add Soul Gem Bags to another Vendor but its not what we wanted. :P
Augment Bags is what we want, fyi

Putting the augments at the collectors seems to be a gold move putting new life to collectibles, have high hopes for this one.
Now i'm worried about the myddo. If the button is removed is the whole browser removed?
The lottery and myddo itself can go away, but the browser has been useful to browse the forums and ddowiki.
Can't really rely on alt-tab on a slow computer. Altough i'd sacrifice it if they are finally dumping myddo.
No, this is not possible.Yeap, as well as the selling of raid loot$
What bothers me here is the "Turbine takes a pretty impressive cut" part. We're already paying for the astral shards...you certainly can't make claims about getting them for free when astral diamonds drop about 1 in every 5,000 chests at most. So, basically, real money AH, right? Am I understanding that correctly? Of which Turbine takes a pretty impressive cut?
Posting fee? Ok. And I like how it is refunded if the item doesn't sell. But a percentage transaction fee on top of that? That's terrible.
Let's say you put up a bound BtCoE item and it sells for 5 shards.
1- You lose you 1 shard deposit.
2- The AH takes a 40% cut. That's 2 shards.
So out of the 5 shards paid, your net gain...2? That's a 60% loss vs the actual sale price. It's one thing to do this with platinum. Platinum is cheap. Now you're talking about real money. You go ahead and find me a single auction house anywhere in the real world that takes a 60% cut of the items they sell.
You've stepped out of the "this is just a game" defense when you involve real money. A 60% cut is unconscionable.
At MOST the AH cut should be 10%, and it should always round down. So in the above scenario, the AH fee would be ZERO SHARDS, and you'd just lose your posting fee.
If the system goes in the way that it is currently designed, it will fail totally and utterly, to an even worse degree that PvP did. PvP had lots of people clamoring for it. Nobody has asked for this.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.
Nedry Smallfoot (Level 14 Warforged Wizard) does not appear to remember that he can cast spells.
New Known issue - Nedry Smallfoot is NOT... I Repeat... NOT a Warforged!
He is a Halfling!

He is also Lvl 17 and totally useless!
The Level 14 WF Wizard Hireling is Sigil who I personally have never had any problems with
The 'Knowns Issues List' is actually a graveyard of defects. They're actually
saying "Yes, we know about, we're never going to fix it so shut up about it".
I think we all accept that computer programs have bugs. What I find difficult
is that Turbine clearly relies on it's players to submit bug reports yet they
make this process as obtuse and unrewarding as possible. There's no incentive
to drop bug reports into a blackhole. I can literally count the bugs I've
logged that have been fixed on the fingers of one finger.
Sorry for the invective but it's just frustrating to see that they've been
spending resources on yet more ways to nickel and dime us without doing what
they promised (improving quality).
