    Squeak,

I didn't see anything in the notes about invisibility. Do you know if this was fixed in the patch?

    Thanks

Any update on those Patch1 release notes? What are we looking at?

And it is just painful to put the Known Issues link in your post Squeek. Hasn't been updated for 3 months... and is about half the size of the maintained known issue list on the forums. Still doesn't contain the words "Niac's get broke by Crushing Wave" after a year.

Obviously, people haven't ****ed off QA enough to get them to add it to the list to tell people to "shut up, we know already."

That's because they don't have all the information they need on that bug yet. I remember reading a post from one of the dev's or CM's that said that stuff only got put on the known issues list when they no longer needed information from bug reports.

Translation: "Shut up we know already".

Given how long most are up there, why haven't they been fixed yet? hmmm?

I will admit, they need to do a better job explaining "The Ladder Bug" with what people are calling "the ladder bug" any more. I haven't found an actual ladder bug in years that was related to "The Ladder Bug".
The last actual ladder bug I found, came out about/in The Snitch. Where you are going down the round sewer tunnel and can't, from ground, climb up the ladder. However, that is NOT "The Ladder Bug". This was caused by the curvature of space/ground not allowing the character to properly get a grip on the ladder. Keeper confirmed that as well.
Most people's "ladder bug" any more is actually anti cheat software causing client/server positioning arguments causing the player to rubberband back in place. Because it is a confinded location/action you can't get out of it unless you move away from it or just stand still. You can also reproduce this by jumping to different heights where your character suddenly snapps into "place".

Well, ok. But if the ladder bug is related to client/server disagreements about where you are located, why does it NEVER kick in when you jump onto a ladder, only when you walk up from the base? And why does it kick in at the base a good 80% of the time?

Why doesn't it kick in on every single jump? Answer, I do not know. Only the people that can look at the code can answer that. I suspect there is a time slice race condition that can happen that causes it in conjunction with height above ground and vector math prediction of character future location.

This isn't true. I have the ladder bug kick in when I jump on a ladder more often than just walking up to it.

    The Shard Exchange

This new auction house functions similar to the original Auction House, and offers a convenient place to trade equipment for Astral Shards, a currency that provides additional in-game services! The Shard Exchange is available by visiting an Auction House NPC or by selecting the Shard Exchange in the start menu (the "dragon coin" in the lower left of the screen.)

The Shard Exchange is available to Premium and VIP players.
The Shard Exchange utilizes Astral Shards both as a bid and reward currency.
Unbound and Bound-to-Character-on-Equip items can be traded. Equipped Bound-on-Equip items can be sold even after they are bound, but become immediately bound to the buyer.
Posting fees for unbound items is one Shard, and posting fees for Bound on Equip items is five Shards. These fees are refunded if the auction expires.
Premium players can currently post up to ten items, and VIP players can post up to 20 items.
The default bid for unbound items is three Shards, while the default bid for Bound on Equip items is fifteen Shards.
The Shard Exchange will take a 30% cut (on top of the posting fee) when unbound items are successfully sold, and a 40% cut (on top of the posting fee) for bound items.
LAMANNIA ONLY: There is currently a bug in the Shard Exchange that causes the Exchange to take at least 100 shards from Auction profits. This is not intended, and will be fixed for the system's deployment to the live servers.
So, basically, real money AH, right? Am I understanding that correctly? Of which Turbine takes a pretty impressive cut?

Yeap, as well as the selling of raid loot$
