Lamannia will be coming down around 10am (until some time in the future) for a new build.

By "some time in the future" I mean, "Probably tomorrow around 6pm EST (GMT -5)"

Additionally, I will place the Guide near the Harbor trainers and fill the Auction House when Lamannia is back up.

don't think so - I vaguely recall hearing Squeak in game say something about probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Hopefully this is the enhancement pass and some more lag/bug fixes.

I'm hoping too, but i sincerely doubt they'd release the enhancement pass on lam while cove is up. Too many people would stop playing cove.

I would expect one or two patches to test on lamannia before the enhancement stuff is put up.

Please not a wipe, it's only been a few weeks since the last one, all you folks wanting one should maybe just build a new toon to run stuff all the u17 kit has been available and many of us have tr'd multiple times. Would be great to have another event though either a tr event or an item drop as those are the time that a decent number of folk come into lamma, although mostly they seem to come for the gear and then not seen again until the next gear drop. Hopefully the store will come back and the guide too please. :-)

Usually new build means a new compilation of the executables that include fixes... At least that's how it's used in my line of work.

agree - and usually Squeak is good about telling us if it is a wipe.

Here is what I am guesstimating this downtime is for:
DDO Store
Some bugfixes to tested before being brought into live
Potentially Guide permenance. Noticing where things were last time, it makes sense in the placing-before-locking-down kind of way.


I saw a few red flags for the live client that would need a pass by live players on a test environment before putting a hotfix out. Like the whole LR/TR thing, some loot related stuff, balances, a few broken quests... Severity 2's mainly that interrupt defined gameplay.

I don't see a wipe coming for another two weeks. When Lam will most likely see some system level changes for u18.

Hmm, that "some time in the future" sounds as though it will be more than a couple of hours or the previously quoted "soon" please tell me I'm wrong and that some time in the future/soon means tonight/tomorrow?
